Healing Powers of Sleep

Did you know sleep is one of the factors for healing yourself? If you get a good sleep on a consistent basis this is a big part of how you and your body “feel” when you are awake.
HGH, dopamine, testosterone and seratonin are all hormones. These hormones are responsible for keeping you happy, healthy and full of energy. They also give you good hair, nice skin and sex drive. These hormones are balanced and ciruclated at the highest levels when you are in the R.E.M. sleep zone (your deepest sleep zone). This deep sleep is most often between 3:00 AM and 6 AM.
Your body desparately tries to recover, and repair itself at every level when you sleep. It tries to repair not just your muscular structure but also your ligaments, cartilage, joines, tendons and central nervous system.
